salad servers
The Yi Salad Servers are made from solid, handcrafted Kwila. Kwila is a naturally red hardwood that is native to Australia. The servers are slightly oiled with a natural, food safe oil to help them repel any access water that they may come in contact with during the serving of food. When washing any kind of wooden kitchen utensil we recommend not washing them with any kind of detergent but simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and place in a well ventilated place during storage. Free plans available on request.

linear cd rack
The LINEAR CD Rack is one of the designs where form follows function. One of our design philosophy’s is to keep things as simple as possible and that really helped keep this design very clean and linear (hence the name). It is a design that not only helps keep your CDs or DVDs tidy but allows you to display your favourites, up to 5 at a time in a standing position, allowing the cover artwork to be appreciated. “SLAB” fruit bowl
When we were asked to design a simple wooden fruit plate it wasn’t immediately obvious which direction we should be going it. There are various directions a project like this could take. Many designers and craftsmen think immediately of the time proven technique of wood turning to produce plates or bowls for they use in food presentation. After some experimentation it was decided to pursue the path of simplicity. Free plans available on request.

Midcentury cabinet resto
We love taking something old and making it new again. Giving it another lease on life and bringing it into the 21st century. We had recently restored a table and it was up for sale. The eventual buyer was so taken with the dramatic ‘new’ table, and was so impressed with the quality of the finish, that she asked if we would restore a mid-century sideboard she so that it matched the table. slat tray
The SLAT Tray is made from a curved sheet intersected by two straight lines. Seemed like a simple idea in the beginning and looks simple enough to look at now but there was quite a struggle to get this woodworking project from concept, through production, to the final product. swish bats
Swish bats made to order. Swish is a game played by blind or visually impaired people on a table not too dissimilar to a table tennis table where they hit a ball with bells inside back and forth on the table surface. These bats are made from a durable plywood and have laminated handles and finished with a hard wearing clear-coat finish.

upcycled retro table
This mid-century dining table had been sitting around the workshop for a couple of years. After a recent workshop cleanup it was decided to give it fresh look. One of the reasons it had been left for so long was that it had some surface damage on the main part of the table – hence the new look. Satin white main table top with teak extension leaves in excellent original condition. This design and finishing solution make it perfect for modern living.

wedding arbor
A wedding is an occasion where there is always the need for decorative items, be it wedding invitations, chalk boards, floral displays or wedding arbors. This wedding arbor was designed and built to be used multiple times and can be easily dismantled and moved from one venue to another. Each wedding and venue is going to have it’s own theme and the arbor can be decorated to suit with the only limiting factor being ones imagination.
